Chrome (nickel) Tei3 Santa Fe in amazing condition. 34.5"

This one is interesting!  I've traced it back through two owners.  Everybody had it like this, nobody battled rust.  There are zero signs of any past work.  I am confused! 
If it was plated, they did an unbelievably good job, the surface milling in the cavity is better than many new Tei3's I've seen.  Stunning.  

Face insert was touched up, rebuilt with black caulking in the cavity, and gloss black paint / black shaft.  I put a purple gripmaster paddle on it, you can have any color you would like!  

Cover is a new (custom shop 2023) replacement cover in silver.  10/10 mint.  Matches this head great. 

I truly don't mind having this one for a day or a lifetime.  I'll stand behind the finish on this one...  I am interested by it!  Usually exposed carbon steel rusts almost immediately.  This is either a limited run I don't know about, was plated aftermarket, or it's about to rust.  I sealed it up nice, and I'll stand behind this finish if I need to!
